How do I know what size dumpster I need?
We often have people ask us multiple questions about our dumpsters so we are going to start going over some of those questions here.
The question we get the most is... How do I know what size dumpster I need?
To accurately know how large of a dumpster you need, you need to try and calculate the number of cubic yards of stuff or material you are throwing out. For a general rule of thumb, a cubic yard is about the size of a standard oven or washing machine. So for example, a 10 yard dumpster should be able to hold 10 washing machines. If that does not work but you are familiar with a standard sized pickup truck bed, you can try to measure it based on the number of pickup truck beds your junk might fill up. 10 yard = 4 pickup truck loads
12 yard = 5 pickup truck loads
15 yard = 6 pickup truck loads
20 yard = 8 pickup truck loads
30 yard = 12 pickup truck loads
